Avocado and mango crops fashion in Spain

Due to the low profitability of some agricultural products, the Spanish producers are moving to more profitable products to the farmer.

That is why the cultivation of avocado and mango are inroads into the Spanish agricultural sector as producer receives an average of 1.60 euros per kilo of avocados and 1.30 euros per kilo of mango, compared to the average of 0.20 euros per kilo perceived growing citrus. The extent of avocado plantations in Spain currently reaches 10,000 hectares, while Mango reaches 5,000 hectares, with a production of 50,000 tons and 22,000 tons respectively.
